Texas Instruments Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) is an American technology company that designs and manufactures semiconductors and various integrated circuits, which it sells to electronics designers and manufacturers globally. Its headquarters is in Dallas, Texas in the United States. TI is one of the top 10 semiconductor companies worldwide, based on sales volume. The company's focus is on developing analog chips and embedded processors, which account for more than 80% of its revenue. TI also produces TI digital light processing technology and education technology products including calculators, microcontrollers and multi-core processors. The company holds 45,000 patents worldwide as of 2016.
A former employee shared this in a review "What's to say? They've dumbed the jobs at Texas Instruments down to the point where a monkey could do it. It's either completely boring or super crazy, mostly crazy boring. It will take you 10 years to move up 1 pay grade as an operator and even longer to be the blessed "upper level". The person who gets all the decisions the engineers deem not worthy of their time dumped on them, also easy work by design."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"1. Job Security is very less. My friend who worked really hard for his team for 2 years was fired from TI because his department couldn't sell team's product. So, the whole team was fired because they couldn't compete with customer. They weren't given the option to relocate to other teams 2. HR's are not favorable when department decides to cost Cut. They wouldn't allow you to relocate to other teams. 3. I wouldn't advice anyone to join Texas Instruments. This is because, in initial parts of career like for 1-10 years job security won't matter. But after 10 years, Job security is a must in which Texas Instruments is quite bad"
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"Priorities have changed a lot because of incapable managers at the top positions. Innovation is dying and stress is only on Execution which makes the work stressful and annoying. India management is submissive to Dallas counterparts and not able to keep their point, simply bowing down to their decisions. No work life balance."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"The insurance benefits are horrible for new employees. All they offer is a HSA program that doesn't cover hardly anything. I had my annual checkup recently and did the blood work that my doctor recommends every year. The bill for this with TI's HSA program was over $600. I am thankful that i am healthy and do not have any health concerns. There is no way I can afford to have any health issues if my annual checkup and blood work cost that much."
Former Employee - Semiconductor Device Engineer says"Ethics and values are largely ignored. Majorities are always right, while minorities are always wrong. Personal advantage is more important than the benefit for the company. Little management support. The benefits of diversity are largely ignored due to ignorance, intolerance and arrogance. Too many incompetent supervisors and Tech Ladder title holders on all levels. Growing micromanagement and increasing bureaucracy. Performance does not matter."
